My Story

        My name is Bella Alba, and I am deeply passionate about creating unforgettable experiences through event planning. Growing up in a household where hosting gatherings and fostering connections was always at the heart of our celebrations, I quickly realized that event planning was my true calling. The joy of seeing people come together to celebrate life’s milestones and create lasting memories sparked something inside me that has only grown stronger with time.

        After graduating high school, I pursued my studies at Southeastern University, where I majored in Communications and Mass Media, with a minor in Business. This combination of fields helped me develop both the creative vision and the strategic mindset needed to thrive in the event planning industry. The foundation was set, but it was my hands-on experiences that truly shaped my journey.

        One of the most pivotal moments in my career came when I had the incredible opportunity to work on the university's events team under the mentorship of Aeriel Cook. Aeriel’s guidance had a lasting impact on my professional growth. During my time on the team, I was able to work on large-scale events where I honed my skills in planning, promoting, and executing memorable experiences for a diverse audience.

        After graduation, I stepped into a role as an Event Supervisor/Coordinator with Second Plate Catering. This position was a dream come true, as it allowed me to take the lead in coordinating catering services for events of all sizes—ranging from intimate gatherings of 25 to grand celebrations for up to 1,000 guests. Working at Cleveland Heights Golf Course, which hosted events in a stunning venue for up to 200 attendees, I had the privilege of collaborating closely with clients to bring their visions to life. Whether it was a corporate event, a baby shower, a Christmas party, or, my personal favorite—weddings—each occasion presented new challenges and opportunities to deliver an exceptional experience.

Weddings, in particular, became a true passion of mine. I had the honor of working with engaged couples to bring their dream weddings to life, coordinating every detail, and making sure their big day was nothing short of magical. I offered my services to couples both through my role at Second Plate and as a freelance wedding coordinator for friends and family. Each wedding was unique, and with every event, I gained more confidence and experience in curating personalized celebrations.

        Throughout these years, I realized that my love for event planning extended beyond just work—it was a lifestyle. Every family gathering, celebration, or even casual get-together became an opportunity for me to put my skills to use, and I knew that it was time to take the next step. That’s when the idea for my own event planning business began to take shape.

        Starting my own business is the realization of a dream I’ve nurtured for years. I am thrilled to now be in a position where I can partner with you to turn your event vision into a reality.
